For the inaugural opening of San Mei Gallery Milan Tarascas and me curated an evening of interdisciplinary sound, art and performance with. 23 artists were assigned movements to respond to from Le Carnaval des Animaux and Danse Macabre, two pieces of music written by the French composer Camille Saint-Sans.
Paintings, sound pieces, films, sculptures and performances navigated the fourteen movements of the suites of the carnival played by pianist Alex Ho. The performance culminated in violinist Teddy Truneh playing the symphonic poem of the dance of death.
