Tun in Chinese means swallow. This series refers to the swallowing, digesting and re-digestion of a character through material discovery. Autophagy describes the self-digestion of a cell's proteins and structures as a way of refining and sustaining itself for the future. This self-referential, almost cannibalistic approach to becoming the most 'undiluted' version of oneself is a way of solidifying a personality giving it a history.
